私が問題にしたいのは二つ。
一つは同和部落問題を喰い物にして「恫喝」で社会を渡り歩いてきたのでは？という大衆の直感（それが合っているのか、どうかは分からない）が、あのテレビ映像で一瞬にして日本全国に伝わってしまった事だ。
日本全国の庶民が「被災地を助けよう」「原発は大変だ」と心の底で思い、出来る事は何だろうと、3月11日以来、自らに問い続けている時、そして被災者は言うまでも無く、民主党政権のサボタージュのような復興の遅れに希望を失い欠けている時に、「恫喝」を生業にしてきたような議員を復興大臣に指名し、あの態度を取れば、それは日本国民の敵とみなされて当然である。
内田さんの言うように「知的パーフォーマンスを低下させる政治的センスの無さ」もあるが、それよりも、もっと感情的なレベルでの拒否感である。
日本国民が望んでいるのは、被災者の心に寄り添い、一緒に汗をかきます、という態度の復興大臣だったと断言して良いと思う。
「お前らが知恵を出さないと、何もしないぞ！いいか！」などと良く言えたものだ。
精も根も尽き果てて、体力、知力、お金や家や仲間も失ってしまった被災者、被災地には 「あなた方は不条理な災害にも関わらず頑張っている。私は被災していないので、知恵もお金も体力もあるので、国が全面的に被災地を支援します。現地の状況は理解が足りないので、どうぞ、教えてください」
というリーダーが求められているのに、実際には恫喝されたのだ。
この感情的な怒り、憤りを、私は共有する。
